I’m thankful for you!

As we get ready to celebrate the American Thanksgiving holiday, I started to think about all the things I’m thankful for. That could take the rest of the month for me to share…LOL!

However; I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the mothers and wives out there. The journey of being a mom is not an easy road. We are recognized on Mother’s Day but what about the remaining 364 days of the year. So thank you to all you mothers out there. Thank you for your sleepless nights, thank you for giving it your all to raise productive citizens, thank you for extending such selfless acts on a daily basis.

Thank you to all the wives. We don’t get a special day as wives, maybe Valentines Day count…LOL! But I want to take today to appreciate all of you. Thank you for being the supportive force behind your husband. It’s starts at home. Making your husband feel respected and honored at home gives him the strength to exit his home and be the man God has created him to be. Thank you for your continuous efforts to keep peace and love flowing through your homes. Thank you for all that you do.

And to all my ladies who aren’t mothers or wives, I thank you to. Being a woman is such a beautiful experience however; I know it’s not an easy one. So thank you too! Thank you for being the beautiful, fierce woman you are. Thank you for blessing the world with your presence. If nobody ever say it to you ladies, I say it to you all today. Thank you, thank you for just being you. This world is a better place because you’re in it. So as you go through the rest of you day/week, walk it out with such swag that turn heads. Why? Because you’re a woman!! God fashioned you, he took his time to make you the gentle, yet strong creature that you are.

I know many of us may be tired and even stressed preparing for the holidays but just take a quick moment to encourage yourself, speak LIFE over yourself. You are perfect the way you are and can’t nobody do it like you, go girl!! Have a great rest of your week and a blessed Thanksgiving!
